The CITI Centro de Informática e Tecnologias de Informação, FCT/UNL, and the Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Linguagens, FSCH/UNL are collaborating with the Museu Colecção Berardo in the context of a new research project on public communication of Art, funded by FCT / MCTES. Researchers of the CITI IMG team, lead by PI Nuno Correia and involving graduate students Luís Silva, Rui Nóbrega and Tarquínio Mota, have developed an innovative multimedia module for the interactive exhibition "Sem Rede" by artist Joana Vasconcelos. The module incorporates multi-touch technology and makes possible interactive browsing of the exhibition catalog, as well as the assemblage of a relationship network among art pieces. "Sem Rede" is open to the public from March 1 to May 18, 2010.
