MDD Approach for Requirements Refinement to Architecture Abstract:This document presents a model-driven approach for requirements refinement to architecture. It describes: (i) a set of tools and languages that allows, at the domain analysis level, to reason about the features, functional requirements and non-functional requirements to help the definition of SPL architectures; (ii) a model-driven approach that addresses the automatic product derivation in application engineering. Most of the elements of our approach are complementary to existing SPL methods and techniques. Our approach provides new mechanisms and tools to improve the management of the relationships between features and requirements and the mapping between features and architectural elements.
