Ankica Barišić was born in Zagreb in 1983. She is a PhD student at FCT/UNL and researcher at CITI. She obtained MSc degree in mathematics, specializing in computer science, from University of Zagreb in 2010. From 2007 till 2010, she was working as designer of information system for the financial industry. In her Master's thesis she covered the topic of risk management with focus on modeling portfolio optimization using VaR. Her current research focus is to study a conceptual framework that supports Software Language Engineering development process concerning the issue of Domain-Specific Language Usability evaluation reusing best practices from the Human-Computer Interaction area.
