Henrique João Domingos @ International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (IJAHUC)http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalCODE=ijahuc The IJAHUC journal publishes papers that address networking or computing problems in the context of mobile and wireless ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, ad hoc computing systems, and ubiquitous computing systems Objectives The IJAHUC publishes state-of-the-art international research in all areas of ad hoc and ubiquitous computing topics. The missions of IJAHUC are to improve international research on new and valuable ad hoc and ubiquitous computing technology by publishing high-quality articles, and to expose the reader to various methodologies and types of articles. Readership Professors and graduate students in telecommunication, computer science, and electrical engineering Ad hoc and ubiquitous computing technology researchers, engineers and managers General participants in ad hoc and ubiquitous computing technology Contents The IJAHUC serves as a medium to report, exchange and discuss work-in-progress, experience, case studies, trend-setting ideas on ad hoc and ubiquitous computing as well as potential future directions and issues. In addition, theoretical contributions (such as new techniques, concepts, and analyses) and practical contributions (such as system experiments, prototypes, and new applications) are included. Subject Coverage All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another conference or journal. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: Ad Hoc Computing Addressing and location management Architectures, protocols, and algorithms Data management issues Distributed technology Network design and planning Power-aware and energy-efficient designs Quality of service Resource allocation Security and privacy Self-configuring and self-healing schemes Services and applications Traffic analysis and control Mobile ad hoc networking Wireless sensor network Mobile ad hoc learning Ubiquitous Computing System support infrastructures and services Middleware services and agent technologies Architectural structure, design decisions and philosophies Interoperability and wide scale deployment Context and location awareness, context based and implicit computing User interfaces and interaction models Software infrastructures Service discovery mechanisms and protocols Intelligent devices and environments Wireless/mobile service management and delivery Wearable computers and technologies Personalised applications
