CITI researchers get "best paper" award at Europar 2012

The paper "Efficient support for in-place metadata in transactional memory" by Ricardo Dias, Tiago Vale and João Lourenço, was nominated "distinguished paper" at Euro-Par, a first tier conference on Computer Systems. No more than three papers were nominated this year, and will be presented in a special plenary session.

Ricardo Dias is a PhD student, Tiago Vale is a Master student, and João Lourenço the supervisor of both at CITI/DI.
