CITI @ DI Student Rossana Santos gets Best Paper Award

Rossana Santos work with Nuno Correia from CITI Multimodal thematic research area was recognized the best at the ICDSC 2010 PhD Forum. The paper "vuSpot: an infrastructure for augmented information sharing using surveillance cameras" addresses techniques to integrate contextual information with images captured by surveillance cameras, using aumengted reality techniques. ICSDC 2010 is the Fourth ACM/IEEE International Conference on Distributed Smart Cameras.
